In March MachoArts completed its first year of blogging, now I decided to publish my monthly income and traffic report. The main reason behind this report is that it will help me to analyze my last month’s performance also it will be nice opportunity for our readers to get idea about making money online.

April 2011 Traffic Report

March was a really nice month for our blog traffic, as a result of recent Panda a.k.a farmer update our blog traffic increased nearly 40% ! Also one of our post 15 Amazing Animated Short films getting 3-7k unique visitors each day from Stumbleupon. So this month StumbleUpon became first traffic source.

This month was pretty good, I removed Adsense as it was not making enough money compared to traffic. You maybe wondering why there are no affiliate link on MachoArts, we believe in transparency of information and hence do not mislead people with affiliate links everywhere. I am only using affiliates and Adsense on micro niche blogs. Don’t worry when I come across a product which I really like then I will definitely promote its affiliate ;) , and that time I am sure earnings will be more !

Me and my business partner (Rohan) provide different advanced SEO services and consultation, which add few bucks in our pocket each month. I could have easily made $5k  if I used 2 more Advertising networks but in order to maintain the quality of the content we have made sure that the ads stay neatly seperated from the content in a non-intrusive way .

The same reason holds good for paid reviews as you will spot none on the blog since we believe only in honesty integrity and creativity and none of those are for sale , atleast not on our blog ! We got a lot of paid review requests but we had to turn them all down because we don’t want to dilute the content served to our readers and an awesome community who has always been supportive of all new ventures .
